Acupuncture is an ancient healing art which originated in China thousands of years ago. The body's natural healing response was found to be activated by inserting fine needles into specific points along the body's energy pathways. The chinese called this energy 'Qi' (pronounced 'chee'), or life force.
Over the millenia, it has developed into a highly comprehensive system of medicine which is still practiced today, not only in the Far Eastern countries, but also in the West where it is firmly established. Acupuncture can benefit the mind, body and spirit. It is helpful for the effects of depression and anxiety as well as fatigue and physical disease.
